Dear TEPA Members and Emergency Paramedics of India
What a privilege to take over as the 2nd National president of TEPA and lead TEPA to its celebrations in the year 2025!
Thank you to all the respected past presidents and my fellow board members who have been great mentors, colleagues, and friends to me on my last years of journey with the TEPA board in various positions and 12 years of EM career.
Thanks to all the TEPA members who continued your trust, support, and commitment over the last years in building TEPA to where we are today.
We have seen many ups and downs in the last few years and had many success stories, especially around academics, Collaborations and partnerships, and tie-ups and in our ability to produce more leaders within and gain visibility and recognition as a genuine, democratic and respectful clinical society in India and beyond.
Over the last few years, we focused on getting our specialty recognized in India and building the capacity of emergency paramedics through various academic programs, skill-building our nurses and paramedics, and building strong collaborations with like-minded leaders, associations, and organizations.
Today, we all members of TEPA stand tall on the shoulders of giants who brought that much-needed visibility and credibility our EM specialty and TEPA rightfully deserve.
We did have our fair share of failures and false starts as in the journey of any society, but what we collectively achieved as a group in such a short span of a few years is phenomenal. The next decade is for us to continue to build on our strengths and see what and how we bring more value to our members in academics, research, and personal and professional well-being. We will continue to build collaborations with leaders in health care and organizations in India and abroad and organizations of international repute like ISRO to ensure that the future looks bright, healthy, advanced, and interesting for the new generation of Paramedics to come.
Together we can achieve more great things.
I welcome you all to be a part of this great journey.
